Self Utopia

Sky-And-CloudsThere comes a point in our lives that changes everything for us. It happens at different times for everyone but has a profound impact on our own wellbeing and our willingness to discover. Discover our potential and our strength in the face of adversity. As children we believe ourselves to be invincible. Some see this as reckless behavior. What if that is where our true self extends from? The belief that we are not limited by anything or anyone. So we take that leap, we climb the highest trees, we swim the width of a lake so vast we can’t see the other side.

In our growth someone told us to fear, fear the unknown. Someone told us that we couldn’t so we stopped trying. Why? Did they fear the lesson learned from that leap ending in a break, that fall from climbing the tree, the cramp in the leg from the swim? They mistook those lessons as failures not lessons learned.

I say break the rules that society has deemed so cautious that you lose yourself, you lose that strength, and you lose that essence. The essence that frees you from the limits and allows a peace that resonates so loud that people are proud to walk amongst you.

About PJ Secluded

Introspective writer working on first manuscript. Writer of original series, poems, musings of sorts and the occasional manic prose. My main blog is an original series seen through the eyes of the lesbian protagonist Burgess. With her brood of studs, they conquer fear and tragedy, embracing love and the experiences between close friends. I have been writing for just a little while now and found a true passion for it. I want to help others through my writing discussing sensitive issues that affect the LGBTQ community in a unique fashion
