Addison-Associates-Reception3the carpet multi-colored

tiny balls of greens, reds, blues and yellow

all compete for space

neo-impressionism

strokes reminiscent of Signac and Seurat

no solid pattern infiltrates the eyes

I could be too close

maybe if my body hovered above this room

a rendering of the quintessential red bike

or the praying hands

all pretention of a dramatic documentary

the unemployed student film maker

love the manic phases surrounded by shitty tv

strange people

rubbing alcohol stench of hospitals

I feel them stare

their eyes all over me

I feel them try to figure out who I am

what I am

sometimes the monsters come out in the daylight

maybe the nurse will call my name soon

maybe I should just run

there’s no comfort in this waiting room

the décor attempts at placid musings

none of which calm the terrors

my brain hallucinates of the strangers’ laughter

About PJ Secluded

Introspective writer working on first manuscript. Writer of original series, poems, musings of sorts and the occasional manic prose. My main blog is an original series seen through the eyes of the lesbian protagonist Burgess. With her brood of studs, they conquer fear and tragedy, embracing love and the experiences between close friends. I have been writing for just a little while now and found a true passion for it. I want to help others through my writing discussing sensitive issues that affect the LGBTQ community in a unique fashion
