Corners

Corners 1 redothe corners varied

some in new houses

some in sheds

others under desks

paint could be chipped in one

bleeding with red hues in another

corners

just corners

my corners

I owned them

in all areas

all houses

I always found the corner

my back against the wall

I watched

and forgot

I forgot about a world

of normal souls

I struggled against the

vanilla laughter

and easy cheer

I sat

I stood

but the very ones

I hid from

knew where to find me

they called me unstable

and even insane

my back to walls

my face blurred

to the hurried world

I lost myself

I lost acceptance

my disability became

my betrayal

naked with clothes

they laughed

at my exposure

my attempts

became

battles

corners

everywhere

even in circles

I could always find the corner

I couldn’t find myself

About PJ Secluded

Introspective writer working on first manuscript. Writer of original series, poems, musings of sorts and the occasional manic prose. My main blog is an original series seen through the eyes of the lesbian protagonist Burgess. With her brood of studs, they conquer fear and tragedy, embracing love and the experiences between close friends. I have been writing for just a little while now and found a true passion for it. I want to help others through my writing discussing sensitive issues that affect the LGBTQ community in a unique fashion
